OVO F9: OVO continues to satisfy with the F9, I thoroughly enjoyed it. At first glance, I appreciated that this actually looks like a “grown up” vibrator. OVO is perfect for those looking to build a toy collection without the presence of any forest animals, Cheap, glittery jelly material, or huge bulky handling. Instead, the F9 is sleek and chic; more importantly, it gets the job done.
The vibe’s modern shape is paired with pleasure-enhancing curves that make handling this vibrator comfortable/user-friendly while providing a satisfying snug fit, creating wonderful friction and more pleasure when using for full vaginal penetration.
The silicone material provided an easy glide once you’re sufficiently lubricated or after using a good water based or hybrid lubricant. Believe it or not it also made clitoral stimulation bearable AND enjoyable when used on the higher vibe settings.
The Mr.’s 2 cents: “I am a big fan of wands because of the size and the OVO F9 has more of a wand like function and shape than a traditional vibrator. I am convinced and categorizing it as a single motor wand. All of the toys and intimacy enhancement products that we have are used together (husband & wife) and never for solo play. So for me as the man I want to be in total control and have full manipulation when performing with my wife. Wands typically are large which makes it easier to hold and control. Our OVO F9 is royal purple in color with a nice touch of what appears to be stainless steel which complements OVO’s signature luxury look and feel. It’s a “wand” so it’s larger than a lot of vibrators but it doesn’t come off as intimidating which is great for men who might feel intimidated by toys and intimacy enhancers. This may not be the first toy you want to buy if your husband has “toytimidation” but maybe the 3rd one once he understands that sex is a total experience and it can’t replace him and is only great when he is the one using it on you.”
On average, I’d say the power level of this vibrator would be powerful enough for most users. However, I prefer a really strong vibration, so while the power and setting variations were good, they left me pining for the strength and variety found in the much smaller, OVO D3.
Also, the OVO F9 does provide a quiet setting as promised, but ONLY if you aren’t palming it by the base of the wand, assumed to be the “handle”. At that point, your hand will seem to work as a sound booster and amplify the vibration sounds. Not completely heartbreaking; definitely tolerable unless sound discretion is a major issue for you.
The Mr.’s 2 cents: “Creating a pleasurable experience is what’s most important to me and as usual OVO did not fail me with their OVO F9 vibe “wand”. Its performance matches its look and feel. It deserves to be added to the collection. If you are fan of wands or lux viberators and are budget conscious look no further it will give you most of the settings that you are most likely accustomed too. We like extreme power and multiple variation patterns too but the F9 is not the Hitachi Wand or PowerplayMaxx Vibrator so don’t expect that type power in this vibe. It does however deliver sufficient power for most users. The F9 is still at the top of its class and I think OVO did a great job of making a vibe that is a “happy medium” for both the novice and well experienced end user.”
I’d say this is a great option for anyone looking to trade in their “juvenile” vibrator for one providing more style, durability and feels like the curves of your vaginal walls were deeply considered in it’s design.
